Hello friends and happy Tuesday! I am back today to share a couple holiday card designs. These cards features the Pine Boughs Stamp Set and the Poinsettia Stencil from Pink and Main. Keep reading below for more details on how I made these nature-themed projects.
Project 1
The first project features the Poinsettia Stencil which is a large, layered floral design. I used Festive Berries, Barn Door, and Fired Brick Distress Oxide inks with the stencil design. I used gold metallic paste for the center berries. After the image dried I trimmed the white cardstock down to a 5 1/8″ square and distressed the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink. I used gold paint to create a splatter design for some extra sparkle. The front panel is matted onto a 5 1/2″ square of solid kraft cardstock.
Next, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Pine Boughs Stamp Set with gold embossing powder onto red cardstock. I die cut the sentiment multiple times to give it a dimensional look. To finish the card I placed gold enamel dots from the Pumpkin Season Enamel Dots.
Project 2
My second card features the holiday foliage from the Pine Boughs Stamp Set. I used Distress inks to stamp the images and layered them to create a beautiful collage. The colors I used are listed at the end of this post. To decorate the card front I used the Candy Stripes Stencil with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink on an A2 sized card front.
Next, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Pine Boughs Stamp Set with gold embossing powder onto red Zig Zag Circle die cut. I used foam tape to attach the circle to the card front. To finish the card I placed green enamel dots from the Pumpkin Season Enamel Dots.
