Hello friends – Bri here! Today I am sharing a sneak peek of the December 2022 Pink and Main release. This project features of the new Frosty Hello stamp set and coordinating die set. These items, along with the rest of this month’s release, will be available on Friday, December 16th. Keep reading below for more details on how I made this frosty project!
For the card background, I layered the blue-green “inked” paper from the Inked Oasis 6×6 Paper Pad, with light and dark teal solid cardstock. I decided to distress the edges of the light teal cardstock to give it more of an icy feel. The front two layers are die cut with the two largest-sized Notched Corner Dies to give them a decorative edge. The teals and whites created a beautiful winter background.
Next, I used my Copic markers to color the penguins and igloo image from the Frosty Hello Set. The colors I used are listed at the end of this post. I used the BG’s for the igloo and the B’s for the snow on the bottom edge. I even used a white gel pen for some added detail lines and dots.
The sweet sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder onto dark teal cardstock. The sentiment and the stamped image were die cut in three layers and glued together with liquid adhesive for some extra dimension. I also used the liquid adhesive to attach them to the card front. To finish the card, I decorated front layer with pink, light teal, and dark teal enamel dots from the new Snow Day Sparkle Dots pack for some extra sparkle.
