Hello friends! Today I am excited to share a sneak peek of the new Fall Snow Globe Scenes stamp and die set which is part of Pink and Main‘s August release. Make sure to check out the release this Friday! Keep reading below for more details on how I made this autumn-themed project.
To create the card background, I cut a piece of orange cardstock to 4″ x 5.25″ and matted it with white and brown cardstock to achieve the final size of an A2 card front. I distressed all of the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink. The textured orange cardstock features the new Micro Dots 6″ x 6″ Embossing Folder. Since I used solid-core cardstock I went over the embossed areas with white pigment ink so that the raised pattern was more noticeable. If you aren’t using solid core cardstock, you can lightly sand the raised areas and get the same effect!
Next, I stamped the adorable bear and pumpkin image directly onto the circle die cut and colored it with Copic markers. The colors I used are listed at the end of this post. Additionally, I used a white gel pen to add detailing to the image.
Since the front panel is textured I used foam tape to attach the sentiment strip and the circle die cut. Both of these shapes were also distressed with Vintage Photo ink. The “Autumn Blessings” sentiment is stamped with dark brown ink. To finish the card I used gold gems for embellishment.
Thank you for stopping by the blog. I hope this creation excites you for the August release this Friday. You can check out more of my Pink and Main projects here!
