New Year, New Kindred Stamps Release!

With a new year comes wonderful NEW products from Kindred Stamps! For the January release I get to showcase a variety of new products: the Stay Strong stamp set and coordinating digital image, the Greek stencil (coming soon!), and the Damask stencil. Check out all the new products in the January release here. I have made 4 different projects with these featured items: three card designs and one journal page. At the bottom of the page I also included a copic coloring guide for the character images. I would love to hear which of these projects were your favorites!

Project 1
For the first project I wanted to feature the super strong hero. For the card background I ink blended yellow ink over the new KS Greek stencil. I matted the background on some vellum and royal blue cardstock. I stamped the “You’re My Hero” sentiment with a coordinating blue ink pad. I cut out some layered column images in Cricut Design Space using my Cricut Explore Air 2 machine. I propped the character onto some foam adhesive to add dimension to the card.

Project 2
For my next project I went into the pits of Hell to feature this demon. I used the Brutus Monroe Color Burst powders to create the flame-like backgrounds. The water color background looks like moving flames. I heat embossed the sentiments, “I’m dying to see you” with BM Sterling embossing powder on black cardstock. I matted these backgrounds with aqua and black cardstock. I made coordinating teal envelopes to match these cards for an extra color pop. 

Project 3
For my last card designs I used the KS Damask stencil and distress oxide ink. I wanted to make some Valentine’s Day card inspiration with the damsel and the female flying horse. I heat embossed the sentiments and used Tonic Nuvo Dream Drops for the accents.

Project 4
For my final project I decided to make something a little different! Every one loves fitness trackers at the beginning of a new year  and the characters and sentiments in this stamp set are perfect to help you stay motivated with your fitness goals in the new year. I decided to make a daily step tracker leading up to the coliseum in the sky! I hand sketched the layout and used the MFT Cloud Stencil for the background. I placed the characters as if they are floating on clouds. I stamped the “Stay Strong” and “You’ll Find Your Way” sentiments. The “You’re A Goddess” sentiment and Steps Chart are all handwritten. It’s always scary to make something outside of your comfort zone, but you won’t grow unless you try!
