I used copic sketch markers to color the unicorn images from the A Little Sparkle stamp set. I used the mirror stamping technique to create the reverse image for the blue unicorn. For a tutorial on the mirror stamping technique check out this youtube video by Justine Hovey here. To create the background I used Distress Oxides for a rainbow ink blending. I used the Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Borders to create magical clouds in the sky. I used some Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to add some depth to the clouds. I used the Large Stitched Rectange Stackables Lawn Cuts to add a stitched edge to the rainbow background and matted it onto a bold pink cardstock. Finally, I heat embossed the sentiment “Hope Your Day Sparkles” onto a light pink stitched banner image and adhered it to the card with some foam tape for dimension.
Hi everyone! Sitting around at home has given me a lot of free time to try new things. I decided to try my very first Lawn Fawnatics challenge. This challenge is the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #75 – Spectacular Skies. “Use the challenge image to inspire you or be inspired by the view outside your own door!” Challenge closes on May 3rd.
I used the Lawn Fawn A Little Sparkle stamp set and some mirror imaging techniques to make this card. For more details on this card read below!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Hope you enjoy this card. I love trying new techniques and messing with my distress inks. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to leave a comment below.
