Today I am sharing a new item called the Snowflake Flip Card die set. This item is from the July release and is available today! This set comes with four coordinating dies: the card base, the flip mechanism, and two sentiments.
To create the flip card, cut the card base twice from double-sided scrapbook paper: once with the flip mechanism and once without the flip mechanism. The piece with the flip mechanism will have a large slit in the middle. To get the smaller flip mechanism front piece cut along the slit and fold along the scor line. Attach the smaller flip piece to the card base along the flap of the card base and ta-da! You have a snowflake flip card!
For my creation I used mint and teal double-sided scrapbook paper from my personal stash. I used Dragon Scales Nuvo Dream Drops to add dimension to the snowflake and card front. I cut two rectangles to matte the inside of the card, a second piece of printed cardstock and a piece of white cardstock. The white cardstock adds a perfect amount of contrast to showcase the snowflake. Finally, I die cut the “Warm Wishes” sentiment to finish the card.
