Hi everyone! This blossoming card features the Flip Card, Flower die set from i-Crafter. I love how the flower can be layered to have more dimensional look. This die set cuts the card base and the floral flap to make an A2 sized greeting card. This project is also featured on the i-Crafter blog today, check it out here.
As mentioned above this die set cuts the card base and the floral flap. I used a piece of double-sided scrapbook paper that has a floral theme and a wonderful contrast to build the card. I used a coordinating light pink to add layers to the floral image. I used water-based ink to distress the edges of the flower and to ink splatter across the flower petals. I used liquid glass to add some shine to the center of the flowers.
On the inside of the card I attached a piece of stitched rectangular white card stock so the sender can write a message to the recipient. I die cut the “Bloom” sentiment from the same scrapbook paper as the card base and attached it to the card with some liquid glue. I love the way this card looks when it is standing on its side.
