Welcome to my blog! Today I am sharing this lovely creation featuring the adorable I Heart U Anya stamp set from The Greeting Farm. Make sure to check out TGF’s other wonderful products here! I used my Copic Sketch markers to color Anya and the bouquet of flowers. I have provided a coloring guide at the end of the blog post.
First I ink blended over the entire surface with Worn Lipstick Distress ink for a soft pink background, then I used Abandoned Coral and Barn Door Distress inks with the retired Layered Floral stencil to create a floral background that matched the floral bouquet from the stamp. I finished the card background by using the ink splattering technique with the Barn Door Distress ink.
I heat embossed the “Love You” sentiment with gold embossing powder onto deep red cardstock. The sentiment comes from the Lettered stamp set also from The Greeting Farm. I used a scalloped circle die to cut around the sentiment and attached it to the card background. Finally, I used foam adhesive to attach Anya to the card and added sequins for additional embellishment.
