Hi everyone today I’m participating in the Back to Basics Blog Hop hosted by Handmade Happiness. Handmade Happiness is a group for crafters that want to participate in hops and collaborations. All cardmakers with YouTube channels, blogs or social media accounts are welcome. Check the Facebook group out here. Check out the other hop participants in the line up at the end of this post .
Back to Basics Blog Hop
Sometimes it’s fun to just go in the craft room and not always worry about using the latest and greatest and keeping up with the newest techniques. For this hop the participants will create a project using minimal supplies and simple techniques like we all used to.
For my Back to Basics creation I used a simple piece of scrapbook paper to create the card background. This festive pumpkin paper and the gray bones paper is from the Halloweeny Paper Pad. I matted the card front and layered the sentiment with the gray bones paper. The sentiment and pumpkin bunny is from the Halloween Critters stamp set from Art Impressions. I used my Copic markers to color the adorably spooky bunny. The colors I used are listed below the line up list. I put a vellum circle die cut behind the bunny so it could stand out from the background. To finish the card I added silver glitter sequins for embellishment.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Follow the lineup below for more Back to Basics inspiration.
