Festival of Fall Blog Hop – Spooky Fun Creation

Hey everybody! Today I’m participating in another blog hop with the Crafty Festival group. This is the third hop in their Festival of Fall 2020 series. The theme for this hop is Spooky Fun! Check out the Crafty Festival Facebook page for more information on the Festival of Fall blog hop series as well as their other blog hops here

A good friend of mine recently purchased a house and I thought it was the perfect time to use this spooky stamp set! The creepy guy is from the retired Happy Haunting stamp set from Kindred StampsKindred Stamps also has some amazing stencils, check them out here. I used the Spiderweb stencil and the Zebra stencil to create the card backgrounds. I used the Squiggle Mat die from Stamp Anniething to cut the abstract shape on the front of the card. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and I ink blended on the sentiment strip to give it a shaded look. I colored the haunted house and the creepy guy images with my Copic Sketch markers. The haunted house image is from the Spooktacular Friends stamp set from My Favorite Things. The colors I used are listed at the end of this blog post. To finish the card I added bright yellow and green sequins from the retired Booyah shaker mix for some extra embellishment!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Be sure to hop along with us today for even more spooky creations!
