Hi everyone! It’s the first of the month therefore it’s another i-Crafter release! Today I am showcasing the new Cherry Blossom Box die set. This product is perfect for household decor or a even a gift box! Make sure to check out the other new products on the i-Crafter website here!
First I die cut the 5 sides and the hexagon base from pink and white polka dotted paper. I used my scoring tool to score the folds on the side panels.
The Cherry Blossom Box comes with a wide selection of decorating dies but I decided to make all of my panels look the same with the geometric windows.
Next I used rose gold paint from Prima Semi-Watercolor Metallic Pastel Accents to add detail to the top petals and to create a splatter effect on the sides of the box. I used metallic pink from the same paint set to give the vellum in the side windows I shimmery tint. I used double sided tear tape to attach the vellum to the side panels. I also used the tape to glue the side panels together and the adhere the base.
This box would shine beautifully if you added a tea light inside!
