Thanks for stopping by my blog! It’s the fourth day of the Kindred Stamps Release Week for February 2021. Today, I am sharing a sneak peek of the brand new Eggstra Annie stamp set. This set and the rest of the release will be available on Friday, February 26th at 8 AM PST.
For this release, I made two projects featuring the Eggstra stamp set. I colored the images with my Copic Sketch alcohol markers. The colors I used are listed at the end of this blog post. Project 1
This first card features the new Card Builder Basics die set and the Easter Goodies stencil.
I created the blue sky with the Confetti stencil, Ocean Mist cardstock, and Broken China Distress Oxide ink. I die cut the grass with light green cardstock. I matted the scene with a dots-n-dashed stitched yellow circle. To create the beautiful pastel background I used the Easter Goodies stencil and Distress Oxide inks (Shaded Lilac, Worn Lipstick, Cracked Pistachio, and Broken China). I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder onto light blue cardstock. To finish this card, I matted the background onto bright purple cardstock.
Project 2
My second card is a beautiful shaker card that features the Easter Eggs Sprinkletz, Confetti stencil, and Chevron stencil.
To create this shaker card I used my Cricut Explore Air 2 electronic cutting machine. I used this free clipart to create the decorative egg. I shaded the egg die cut with the Confetti stencil and Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink. I used the Chevron stencil and Distress Oxide inks (Abandoned Coral, Evergreen Bough, Faded Jeans, and Seedless Preserves) to ink blend the colorful background.
To finish this card I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder onto Plum Punch cardstock.
