Hi everyone! Today I’m participating in the Last Day of May: May Day Celebration Hop hosted by Handmade Happiness. Handmade Happiness is a group for crafters and cardmakers of all skill levels who want to participate in hops and collaborations. All cardmakers with YouTube channels, blogs or social media accounts are welcome.
This card hop is all about the celebration of May! Use fun, bright spring colors with flowers or anything related to May Day! Check out the other hop participants in the line up at the end of this post.
To create my 5.5″ x 5.5″ square May Day card I used the Next Door Gnomes Stamp and the Mushroom House Background Stamp from Hello Bluebird. I used my Copic markers to color the fairytale scene. I heat embossed the “from my GNOME to yours” sentiment with white embossing powder onto black cardstock. I matted the fairytale scene onto a black card base with foam tape for dimension.
