Hi everyone! I’m excited to announce that I am officially a part of a fun new team: Chibitronics !! To celebrate I created this Rad Party themed light up card. This recently retired stamp set is from Sassy and Crafty. For more details on how I made this creation keep reading below!
To create the bright background I used the Tangled Cord Stencil from Sassy and Crafty and Rina K. Designs Electro Pop Inks from Gina K. Designs. I ink blended with the Loud Lime and Screamin’ Green Electro Pop Inks.
I colored the images with my Copic sketch markers. I even colored inside of the heat embossed sentiment to give the card more of an 80’s feel. I used Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops Crystal Glaze to create a glazed look over the light up hearts and headphones. I put a blue sticker light behind the blue hearts, a purple sticker light behind the pink hearts, and a yellow sticker light behind the yellow hearts. Check out the picture below to see how I built the light-up circuit. I used the Sampler Sticker Pack and Copper Tape from Chibitronics to build the circuit.
