Friendly Snowmen with Spellbinders

Hi friends! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Today I’m sharing a card featuring the Friendly Snowmen set and the Home for Christmas Sentiments set which are part of the new Be Merry Collection from Spellbinders.

Project 1

For my first project I layered some bright, festive holiday themed paper to decorate the 5.5″ square card. Next, I heat embossed the “Family and Friends are the True Gifts of Christmas” sentiment with silver embossing powder on the front most square. I colored the snowmen with my Copic markers and attached them to the card with foam tape. To finish the card I added pink and blue sequins.

Project 2

For my second project I used the star stamps from the set to make a background pattern on the card front. I colored in the stars and the snowman with my Copic markers. On the front vertical strip I heat embossed the same stars with white embossing powder to create a pattern. I heat embossed the “Warmest Wishes” sentiment with gold embossing powder onto vellum. Finally, I added gold sequins for some extra sparkle!
