Hi friends! Happy Independence Day! Today I am sharing a fun-fold card perfect for the 4th. This card features the Patriotic Pals set from Kindred Stamps. Keep reading below for more details!
First, I cut the fun-fold components to make the card base. The solid blue piece is 4.25″ x 8.25″ scored at 5.5″ and the solid red piece is 3″ x 8.5″ scored 4.25″. I used the Stars and Stripes Stencil and Barn Door and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide inks to decorate the matted panels on the card bases. The two striped panels are 2.75″ x 4″ and 4″ x 5.25″. The two star panels are 2.75″ x 4″. I distressed the edges of the star panels with Barn Door Distress ink.
I used the star dies from the Card Basic Die Set to decorate the star panels. On the front panel I added navy ribbon and a bow and then attached the elephant character with foam tape. I die cut navy ovals from the Oval Double Stitched Dies for the sentiment banners and then I heat embossed the sentiments with gold embossing powder.
