Hey friends! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Today, I am sharing an motivational card design featuring the new Mermazing product line by Scrappy Boy Stamps. Keep reading below for more details on how I made this slimline underwater creation.
To create the layered card front I used the Distressed Edge Nesting Slimline Dies with the Under the Sea Slimline Paper Pack to create the cave outlines for the mermaid cove. I used the ocean silhouette from the Under the Sea Scene Builder Stencil and the seaweed from the Mermazing Stamp Set to create the ocean floor.
Next, I used my Copic markers to color the lobster, fish, mermaid and prince statue. I used foam tape to attach the mermaid to the card front and the other characters are attached with liquid adhesive.
To finish the card, I used the bubbles stamp from the Mermazing Stamp Set to add a subtle background to the sentiment circle. I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder onto the sentiment circle and attached it to the card front.
