Hey friends! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Today, I am sharing a Christmas card featuring the Pretty Little Things set by Scrappy Boy Stamps. Keep reading below for more details on how I made this holiday creation.
This project was very easy to throw together and is perfect as a last minute Christmas card! First, I ink blended the background with a Skinny Plaid stencil (retired) with Abandoned Coral and Fired Brick Distress Oxide inks. I used Fired Brick on the top and bottom and Abandoned Coral in the middle so that it looked darker on the top and bottom edges but lighter in the center.
Next, I stamped and colored four toy soldiers from the Pretty Little Things set with my Copic markers. The colors I used are listed at the end of this blog post. To finish the card I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder onto a black stitched rectangle die cut. I used foam tape to adhere the sentiment to the card front.
Hope this creation has inspired you today. Check out some more of my Scrappy Boy Stamps creations here!
