Hey friends! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Today, I am sharing two creative card designs featuring the new Cute Girls – Crafting Set by Scrappy Boy Stamps. This set includes a bunch of adorable images of cute girls getting crafty. For my projects, I decided to feature the quilter and the knitter.
Project 1
For my first project I made a card design that looks like a popular quilt block design. I colored the girl and the quilting accessories to coordinate with the beautiful floral paper. I used Y20’s for the yellow, BG90’s for the aqua, and RV30’s for the pinks. I used a black pen to create “stitch” lines around the out edges. The square card ends up being a 6″ x 6″. The dimensions of the cut pieces are listed below.
Cutting Instructions
Floral paper:
(1) 3″ square – center piece
(4) 1.5″ squares – cut diagonally to create 8 triangles
White paper:
(4) 1.5″ squares
(4) 1.5″ x 3″ rectangles
(1) 6″ square – card base
Project 2
My second project features a cute little knitter. For the front panel I used this beautiful rainbow hearts paper that I embossed with a Cable Knit embossing folder to coordinate with the image. I used gray cardstock as the card base to contrast with the colorful rainbow paper.
To color the girl I used RV00’s for the pinks, E33 for the knitting needles, and cool grays for her outfit.
Hope this creation has inspired you today. Check out some more of my Scrappy Boy Stamps creations here!
